Std.App.Cache.keepingAbsence
fn
keepingAbsence: &Std.App.Cache.Cache[K, V] -> K -> Int -> Std.App.Cache.Cache[K, V]This is a callable function.
What it does
The cache remembering that there was no answer.
For less time than a real answer, because being wrong about an absence
costs less, and because a key that does not exist yet is the thing most
likely to start existing.
Read the signature
- The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
- Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
- & borrows a value for this call instead of moving or copying it.
- Names inside [ ] are type arguments, such as the item type held by a collection.
