Std.Audio.resample

1 declaration

fn

resample: &Std.Audio.Pcm -> Int -> Result[Std.Audio.Pcm, Std.Audio.AudioError]

This is a callable function.

What it does

Audio at another sample rate by linear interpolation in exact arithmetic.

Output frame `j` reads the input at position `j * from / to`, a fraction of

frames; the sample between two input frames is interpolated by that fraction

and rounded half away from zero, and a position past the last input frame

holds the last sample. Every host produces the same samples, and converting

to the same rate returns the audio unchanged.

Read the signature

  • The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
  • Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
  • & borrows a value for this call instead of moving or copying it.
  • Names inside [ ] are type arguments, such as the item type held by a collection.
  • Result makes success and recoverable failure part of the function's type.
