Std.Http.Client.send
1 declaration
fn
send: &Std.Http.Request -> &Std.Http.Client.Limits -> Result[Std.Http.Response, Std.Http.Client.ClientError]This is a callable function.
What it does
Send a request and read what comes back.
Every hop is checked against the address rules as though it were the first,
because a redirect is a new request to a new place and treating it as a
continuation is how the checks get skipped.
Read the signature
- The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
- Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
- & borrows a value for this call instead of moving or copying it.
- Names inside [ ] are type arguments, such as the item type held by a collection.
- Result makes success and recoverable failure part of the function's type.
