This is a callable function.

What it does

A value written as compact text, with no spaces between its parts.

The runtime's jsonEncode writes it: one walk over the value into UTF-8

bytes, each string written as runs between the characters that need an

escape, so the cost is the size of the text and nothing interpreted per

character.
