type

This declaration introduces a public type.

What it does

A version, in the three numbers and two tails the scheme defines.

The point of the scheme is that the numbers carry a promise: a change to

patch fixes something, a change to minor adds something that does not

break what was there, and a change to major is allowed to break it. A

comparison that read the version as text would order 1.10.0 before

1.9.0, which is the one thing this exists to get right.
