What it does

What a suite run by pudu test should answer.

How many checks held, or the negative of how many did not. The runner reads

the count to total a run and the sign to decide a verdict, and it can do

neither from a status: a suite that answers zero for success is

indistinguishable from one that checked nothing, and a suite answering one

for failure is indistinguishable from one that checked a single thing.

A suite that both held everything and checked nothing answers zero, which

the runner refuses. That is the intent — a file that has stopped asserting

should be noticed, and it is invisible to every other signal.
