This is a callable function.

What it does

The text before the first occurrence of a needle, and the rest including it.

A miss answers with the whole text and empty text, so a caller that

concatenates the two halves always gets back what it started with.

Read the signature

• The text after the name is the type checked by Pudu.
• Read arrows from left to right: inputs come first, and the final type is returned.
